Raspberry Mocha

It looks like it sparkles!
Love this block!
Here's another scrap quilt I put together recently.  The name was given to it by Constance, one of my quilty buddies.  The block is a variation of the Lady of the Lake.  I'm sure it has it's own name but I don't know what it is.  I've always loved this block in spite of the zillions of right square triangles.  I used Thangles for all of the little ones.  Yes, folks, that's a lot of paper!  But every little square came out perfectly!  The next one I want to tackle is the Birds in the Air pattern.

I hope to get this quilted later this year.  This one is a definite keeper for me.  I found the fabrics at a quilt show in a vendor booth run by Momma Made It, from Longview, WA.  Most of them are civil war reproductions, not initially among my favorites but I have to say I was drawn to them.

Ignore the quilt peeking out from underneath, it clashes!
Now comes the hard part - deciding how to quilt it!  This is something with which I always struggle.  How do other quilters make this decision?
